The Story of Invisible Power
A story of boys in group tried to contact an “Invisible Power” at midnight to ask about their exam marks.

The Candlelight Effect
The main scene happens in a dark room lit only by candles. This is a playground for me. I used deep shadows in the corners of the room to make it feel small and enclosed. The light source comes from the center of the table, which lights up the boys’ faces from below. This “under-lighting” is a classic technique to create a spooky vibe.
The Scary Shadow
The script mentions a “hulky shadow” on the wall that scares the boys. I had to design a shadow that looked terrifying to the kids but could logically just be a backpack. I drew the shadow with jagged, undefined edges to let the imagination run wild, while the actual object (the bag) was drawn with clean lines in the reveal scene.

Morning vs. Night Colour Palette
The transition to the next morning is a huge visual relief. I switched from dark purples and oranges to bright yellows and fresh blues. It visually reinforces the mother’s lesson that there was nothing to be afraid of.
